OFFSHORE LIFT VESSELS
EMCsq Vessel Wrytha
EMCsq Vessel Wrytha has done conceptual design work, engineering designs, re-engineering, stability workups, Society Classing, manuals and onsite placement calculations for lift vessels from 20 to 250 (240 Class). We have taken the lead in new design for items such as Self Dumping Pads, helical anchor use & design, newer ship-shape faster design vessels, telescoping legs to greatly enhance afloat stability in transit. And the SSLV which is a ship-shape design, semi submersible lift vessel that works on a helical anchor system thus reducing setup & moving times.
Below are just some of the projects we have worked on, literature is
available upon request.
TRADITIONAL DESIGNS
200 CLASS
Shown is a 200 Legs. 133 LOA x 70 x 12 Molded
Designs of any size.
SHIP-SHAPE with TELESCOPING LEGS.
Designs of any size.
Shown is a 200 Class, 176 LOA x 80 x 12 molded, 3 ~ 200 legs
The vessel is capable of 30 knot speed, The Gantry Crane is moveable up & down on the towers as well as from side to side. This vessel can be equipped with standard pads, Self Dumping Pads or helical anchors for greatly enhanced loading in the jacked condition.
ADVANCED DESIGNS
SHIP-SHAPE SEMI-SUBMERSIBLE (SSLV)
Designs of any size.
The SSLV was designed to replace the legged life boats do to their inherent problems of stability, speed, deployment setup time, and the list goes on. The SSLV is a ship-shape vessel for the afloat condition and a semi-submersible in the jacked condition employing a helical anchor system that it can move about to readjust its position constantly in a manner of minutes. The Gantry Crane is moveable up & down on the towers as well as from side to side. The vessel is self supporting, once on site it installs the helical anchor system as per-determined by the computer system for the site conditions. Once this is accomplished then the vessel is maneuvered into the desired location and proceeds with the jacking maneuver of jacking with the lower semi-hull submersing. This submersed hull also adds to the vessels capable pay loadings. The helical anchor system holds the vessel in place as well as keeping it from overturning. To move the vessel it is simply a matter of inputting the computer system where to go and the vessel moves on the anchor system. In active oil fields helical anchor systems can be permanently installed at all the work sites, with this it would only be the matter of an hour and the vessel would be up and running.
Shown is a 176 LOA x 80 x 12 (6 + 6) molded capable of working in
1,600 water depths; vessel is capable of 30 knot speed.
Designs of any size.
LITTLE SSLV
This vessel was specially designed for the Navys Lightering system for
deployment of barge bridges. The vessel was designed to fold up and fit into a
shipping container and be able to run on its anchors while installing anchors
for the barges for some 2000. LITTLE SSLV is perfectly suited for small
operations of bridge, dock, pier, and bulkhead work. It is trailer able to
reach areas inaccessible by direct waterways.
